Dear Christ’s Church Academy Students, Parents, and Faculty,
I am so blessed to be a part of the CCA community!
For more than two decades, I have been privileged to serve in positions ranging from classroom teacher and Department Chair to Assistant Upper School Principal, Athletic Director, and Head of School. Two years ago, my wife, Sara, and I started praying for God to place us in a position where we could best serve His Kingdom. We also wanted to find a place where our children (Walt, age 9 and Darby, age 12) would be surrounded by teachers who loved the Lord, would love them, and would encourage and equip them to achieve their God-given potential.
There were many questions and unknowns as we explored a number of new opportunities, but what was always unquestioned was the faithfulness of God. As we teach, mentor and disciple the students of CCA, I am constantly reminded that God’s plans are always exceedingly and abundantly greater than I could ever imagine. Whether you are a student, parent, or a member of our tremendous staff, God has brought you to CCA for an amazing purpose, and I am so excited to be able to partner with you in the great work of Christian education!
