Clay County endorsed, faith based ministry for vulnerable veterans and their families. Various ministry resources including Ft. Grace -a transitional community for vets and families impacted by PTSD and recovering from substance abuse.

USO has a large storage unit on on base at NAS that is in desperate need of cleaning and organization. The USO Team has requested we come help on a couple of days.
Tuesday April 23rd from 9-1pm, and Weds April 24th from 9-1pm. We are looking for 5-10 people to help, even if only for one of the days. We'll need large brooms, and a couple lawn blowers would be helpful. Please sign up and list in the comments what your availability is. They will let us on base only if we show up on time.

Crown Point Elementary is one of the closest Title 1 schools to the Mandarin Christ's Church Campus. We are looking for someone with a vision to collaborate with the principal to support the children and affirm the staff, as the relationship with them grows. This person will work collaboratively with Christ's Church and Crown Point Elementary to identify ways we can serve.

Kim’s Open Door brings the nations to Jacksonville! They share the love of Christ through education and the arts. Kim’s Open Door brings the nations to Jacksonville! Volunteers will assist with food distribution with a mobile food pantry in a community served by Kim's Open Door. NOTE: We will meet in the community and the mobile pantry will come to us!

Join us in one of 6 schools during the period of December 4th through the 9th as we serve the community around the school through a dignified shopping experience. Multiple roles available. Homelessness and people in near destitute conditions are close to the heart of God. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving the least of these. Christ's Church supports the underserved with shower trucks, food and clothing closets and soup kitchens. If you've been around for a minute, you know that God has grown this area of service to include four prisons and a church plant. However, serving in our prison ministry involves many additional ways beyond going behind the wires. We welcome you to come hear inspiring stories and practical ways to serve the incarcerated and the recently released!

Ronald McDonald House provides healthcare access to vulnerable families through lodging. Volunteer application & training required. There are various opportunities to serve at the Jacksonville location. Typically the easiest way to serve is to cook for the residents there. They have a chef who can help direct, and there's a team of Christ's Church people who are becoming familiar with the process.

Quigley House is a live-in shelter for abused women. They are on the westside of town and have multiple ways to volunteer to serve the team and the residents.

There are a couple of people who expressed interest in setting up a mobile oil change service in the church campus parking lots for a day or two to change oil for single moms. We're hoping this comes to fruition.

SIHP is a ministry that builds beds for underprivileged kids who need them. There are a couple of ways to support them; through acquiring materials and donating what they need, or through helping to build beds at their site.

Arize Together is an amazing organization that provides Christ-Centered Community and resources for women and their families that were formerly trapped in sex trafficking. They have events for their members and are looking for Christ's Church child care approved workers to go on a call list. This is no longer a paid service, as the Lord is bringing them people with this ministry on their heart.
