The Baker Re-Entry Party returns for it’s second year at Christ’s Church. Fathers and grandfathers are going to be able to hand pick a couple unique toys for their kids and grandkids, and then the children and their guardians are invited to attend the party and retrieve their gifts. While they are here, the kids get to experience games and crafts, and the parents get to experience peace and prayer. Join us as we serve these families of the men that are set to be freed and reunified with their families in the next two years.

It is an incredible chance to meet new people and welcome them in as only Christ's Church can. Party will consist of music, game or craft, cookies, hot chocolate, and photos with Santa. And this all happens in the Atrium/lobby while the guardian is able to pick up the gifts for the kids and taken them to the car. This will be an amazing way to show the love of Jesus and the meaning of Christmas to some very under-served families.

Volunteers over 18 years old must be current with their background checks due to minors attending the party. Shifts are from 9:00 am-1:00 pm and include setup and break down, while the party goes from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. We’ll have a need for Check in, Gift Givers, Craft Table, Photo-takers, and General Service people to keep things rolling smooth for these families. If you we’re a part of it last year, you’ll remember how amazing it was and if you’re new to it this year, it will be a most rewarding experience.
